We are currently looking for a Head of legal to join the funds management company of a reputable private bank.
Our client
Our client is the funds management company of a leading private bank. The management company is composed of 30 employees, including 5 in the legal department.
Description of the vacancy
- Managing the Luxembourgish legal team
- Coordination of the investment funds and companies legal structures’ for the funds department of the company, institutional clients and external stakeholders
- Supporting the fund sales team with legal advice
- Highlighting specificities of foreign funds
- Maintaining close contact with clients and provide legal advice upon request
- Serving as the reference, support person for the team members
- Carrying on legal and regulatory facets for management companies (registration and creation of its investment funds)
- Being the link between management companies, the hierarchy and all other departments from the company
- Updating the company policies with news regulatory changes on the fund environment
- Participate in all types of projects (local and cross-departmental) in the company
Profile
- Master in Business Law with a specialization in Business/corporate law,
- Admission to the bar would be a major asset
- At least 7 years’ experience in a similar function in a bank, asset management company, law firm or fiduciary company
- Fluent in English and French; German would be considered as an asset
