Vialegis continues to grow across Europe

Vialegis has further strengthened its team, both in Belgium and abroad (in Spain and Luxembourg).

The demand for permanent and temporary legal experts keeps on increasing, both at companies and law firms, and at notary offices as well. Moreover, certain specific profiles remain scarce.

Inge Mommaerts, an experienced paralegal, joined our team in November 2017. She focuses on the search for and recruitment of paralegals and ‘professional support lawyers’ (PSL), both for permanent positions and for temporary projects.

Kathy Mommen, starting beginning of February, will assist Valérie Hofman in the department for Legal Interim Management (LIM), where the demand for interim managers keeps on increasing exponentially. Kathy was a lawyer for a couple of years and then started working as legal interim manager and in-house counsel.

Els Gossé, lastly, will join us on 1 March as Consultant Search & Selection. She currently works a counsel at the Commissie voor Boekhoudkundige Normen (Commission for Accounting Standards). At Vialegis she will in particular focus on the tax profiles.

From February onwards, we will reactivate our activities in Luxembourg, which were put on hold the last couple of years. Vialegis Luxembourg will be managed by Alexis Yaghi, who joins us from Huxley (an international recruitment office), where he led and developed the department ‘Tax and Legal’ for the last five years. Alexis will be assisted by Lucie Boedts, an experienced legal interim manager, who’s main priority it will be to put the concept of Legal Interim Management on the map, for the Luxembourg market.

Our Spanish sister company Iterlegis (www.iterlegis.es) also welcomed two new hires this year; two junior consultants, Teresa Lasierra Ferrer and Ares García Cueto joined Iterlegis – respectively the Madrid and the Barcelona office.
